A-Tech is led by Art Burkhart, a chemical engineer and passionate product champion with over 30 years of success driving innovation for specialty materials in global markets. He has excelled at a wide range of positions for Fortune 500 and Multinational corporations, from Sales Engineer and Business Development Manager to Technical Director and Marketing VP.
Burkhart led Dexter Hysol's pioneering flip chip underfill and liquid epoxy encapsulant lines and served as Henkel's VP of Global Marketing for all semiconductor materials. As Director of Business Development for Atotech Electronics in Berlin, he guided their entry into copper wafer plating and selective finishes for BGAs and IC packages. He has published over 30 technical papers, including collaborations with AT&T Bell Laboratories, Motorola, and Sharp Electronics of Japan. He holds patents for flip chip underfill and low stress optoelectronic encapsulant for sensors.
